Diwali Greetings to All!

To all our members – A Happy Diwali to you and your family.  May Goddess Lakshmi bless you with peace, happiness, and success always!!

Diwali will be celebrated on Friday, November 9th.  The celebration is very much associated with the worship of

LAKSHMI-The Goddess of Light.  It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

It is a day of fun, festivity and joy for people of all walks of life. Preparations begin weeks before the day itself. Cleaning and

decorating are activities common to all. Family members get involved in projects so as to create freshness in the home.

In the evening of Diwali, special poojas-prayers are done and then Diyas are lit. The darkness of the night then disappears to

usher in light that will stay forever.
