Divali Greetings

Divali, the Festival of Lights, is celebrated on Saturday, October 21, 2006.   On behalf of the members of the

Shree Seeta Raam Mandir, we extend Happy Divali Greetings to all.  May Shree Lakshmi Mata’s blessings be

with you and your family and may your lives be filled with peace, prosperity and happiness always!

                                                                         Divali Celebration

The Shree Seeta Raam Mandir is always full of excitement.  In the month of Kartik, the excitement is based around

Divali, where the children play a very integral part in this celebration by performing pujas, skits, songs and dances.

This year, Divali will be celebrated on October 21st; however, our Mandir will be celebrating this occasion on

Sunday, October 22nd at the residence of Vishnu and Sandra Bachu.  Regular services will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Everyone is invited to take part in the worship of the divine Goddess, Mother Lakshmi and to join with us as the children

of the Mandir present a special performance of singing, dancing and acting.  We look forward to seeing all of our friends

and family.  Lakshmi Mata’s blessings to all as she removes the darkness from within us and replaces it with the light of

knowledge and understanding.

Divali – Festival of Lights

Salutations to the Divine Mother, Lakshmi

Divali or Deepavali is referred to as the Festival of Lights.  Light is the symbol of hope and positive feelings.  It indicates the

victory of good over evil, and by spreading light in every corner of our homes we pray to destroy the reign of darkness

and to spread the radiance of love and wisdom on the night of Diwali.  Diwali is celebrated on the Amavasya of Kartik,

the fifteenth day of the dark fortnight of October-November.

AUM SHREE LAKSHMI MATA AYEA NAMAHA!!
